Privacy policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit pickedtech.com (“PickedTech”, “we”).
Information we collect
- No accounts or forms. PickedTech has no user accounts, comments or sign-up forms, and we don’t ask you for personal information.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It is cookieless: it doesn’t set cookies or use local storage, and it doesn’t collect personal data or fingerprint your browser or device to identify or track you. We see only aggregate metrics, such as page views, visits, referring sites, approximate country, device type and page load performance, never individual visitors. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
- Server logs. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, you leave PickedTech. The merchant or affiliate network may set cookies or use similar technology to attribute your purchase to us. Their own privacy policies apply.
Third-party sites
We link to vendor and source websites. We’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Children
PickedTech isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Because we hold almost none, the main case is email correspondence. Email us to make a request.
